Senior Product Designer, Trading

Role overview

This role sits within the product design function and focuses on shaping the trading experience for a worldwide audience.

As a Senior Product Designer for Trading, you will help define intuitive, dependable, and visually polished experiences for crypto trading products. The work spans both customer-facing journeys and business-oriented design decisions, with close collaboration across product, engineering, research, writing, branding, and leadership teams.

OKX will give preference to candidates who already have the legal right to work in Singapore and do not need visa sponsorship.

What you will do

• Bring together input from product, engineering, and marketing to create clear design outputs and keep design central to the development process.
• Take ownership of problems end to end, starting with user or market insights and turning them into new product ideas, features, flows, and interaction patterns.
• Produce wireframes, user journeys, journey maps, high-fidelity interfaces, interactive prototypes, and research-based evaluations to support product delivery.
• Work with product and engineering partners in Asia and other regions to define priorities and build solutions while representing the user perspective throughout the lifecycle.
• Partner with UX Research, UX Writing, Brand, and Product leadership to influence the design direction of your area.
• Improve design quality through structured reviews, stakeholder presentations, and facilitation of design-thinking workshops.

What we are looking for

• At least 5 years of experience in product design, interaction design, UX design, or a closely related discipline.
• Hands-on experience designing complex products in fintech, crypto, trading, web3, or similar domains, with the ability to tackle problems from the ground up.
• Strong interest in CeFi, trading, and the broader crypto ecosystem.
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to explain design choices clearly.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams such as designers, product managers, engineers, UX writers, and researchers.
• Strong user-centered design thinking and the ability to create experiences that feel intuitive and trustworthy.
• A practical, adaptable, and outcome-focused mindset.
• Comfort with experimentation and research methods used to validate design decisions independently.
• A strong portfolio that demonstrates range and quality across your career.

Preferred background

• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or equivalent practical experience is a plus.
• Previous work on fintech, investment, or crypto products is advantageous.
• Experience collaborating with global teams across multiple offices and time zones is preferred.
• Interest in mentoring peers and championing strong design practices is welcomed.
