Job description

Role Overview

Vistas Global is looking for an accomplished Senior PMO Analyst to strengthen enterprise project governance and help deliver strategic business and IT programs successfully. In this role, you will shape and maintain PMO standards, governance structures, reporting routines, and project control mechanisms across several initiatives.

What You Will Do

You will build and refine project management methods, produce executive-level dashboards and steering committee materials, track delivery performance, surface risks early, and support ongoing improvements to PMO practices. Success in this position requires strong analytical ability, stakeholder coordination, governance discipline, and reporting expertise.

PMO Governance and Methodology

  • Create, roll out, and maintain PMO governance models, project delivery methodologies, policies, and standards.
  • Set up effective project management practices, templates, and operating procedures.
  • Confirm that project activity follows internal governance and compliance expectations.
  • Help drive ongoing enhancement of project management processes.

Monitoring and Reporting

  • Track progress against milestones, budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Prepare and update project status summaries, executive dashboards, KPI packs, portfolio reports, and steering committee materials.
  • Share clear and accurate delivery updates with senior leadership.

Stakeholder and Executive Communication

  • Develop presentation materials for executives and steering groups.
  • Communicate status, risks, issues, and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
  • Support coordination between project teams, business functions, and senior leaders.
  • Assist with governance forums and project review sessions.

Governance, Compliance, and Assurance

  • Check that projects align with PMO standards, governance rules, and company policies.
  • Review project documentation for completeness and quality.
  • Carry out governance assessments and project health checks.
  • Support both internal and external audit needs.

Risk and Dependency Control

  • Spot risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies affecting projects.
  • Recommend mitigation actions and corrective steps.
  • Follow through on issue closure and risk response actions.
  • Escalate major risks to management when required.

Planning and Coordination

  • Facilitate planning sessions and governance meetings.
  • Coordinate schedules, milestones, and cross-project dependencies.
  • Support project managers during planning and delivery.
  • Assist with resource and capacity planning activities.

PMO Process Improvement

  • Identify gaps in delivery governance and project processes.
  • Design and implement process improvements.
  • Standardize reporting formats, templates, and project documentation.
  • Contribute to PMO maturity and capability-building initiatives.

Documentation Management and Team Support

  • Maintain PMO templates, project records, governance files, lessons learned, and repository content.
  • Keep documentation accurate, organized, and current.
  • Guide project managers and teams on governance and reporting requirements.
  • Encourage the use of proven project management practices across initiatives.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree is required in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, or a closely related field. A master’s degree or MBA is preferred.

The role calls for at least 8 years of experience in PMO, project governance, or project controls, along with exposure to enterprise IT or business transformation programs. Experience in portfolio management and executive reporting is also required.
