Job description
Role overview
This role supports the planning and coordination of asset maintenance activities for onshore operations, with a focus on emergency outage recovery, major maintenance jobs, overhauls, and shutdowns. The aim is to help maintain safe, efficient, and dependable operations across the asset.

What you will do
- Build work plans, budgets, annual major jobs lists, and integrated Primavera schedules for major complex work and unplanned emergency outage activities.
- Track and maintain compliance with the Shutdown Management System (SDMS) and MCJ gated process, while keeping stakeholders updated on deliverables.
- Check resource availability and level the preventive maintenance schedule to fit new asset and equipment maintenance requirements.
- Prepare approved daily work orders in Risk Based Work Selection (RBWS) for upcoming major maintenance work, ensuring longer-term activities are captured in the master plan and short-term tasks are detailed for the 14-day schedule.
- Work with maintenance teams to coordinate emergency outage planning, troubleshooting activities, and opportunity work, and produce the required progress reports.
- Prepare and coordinate work plans, packs, support materials, reservations, and availability of stewards, while issuing daily progress updates.
- Assist maintenance supervision in coordinating interfaces between Operations, Planning, Scheduling, Execution, and Shutdown teams.
- Ensure priority 4 jobs are aligned correctly, including revision numbering, SPL user status, and system condition updates.
- Support the plant vulnerability readiness plan and follow up with Engineering and Operations when feedback, inspections, and recommendations are needed for scoping.
- Coordinate the asset maintenance external contracting approach and manage interfaces with external stakeholders such as OEMs and vendors.
Requirements
- Higher National Diploma (HND) in Engineering.
- At least 8 years of experience in the oil & gas or petrochemical sector.
- Strong written and spoken English skills.
- Comfortable using MS Office applications.
- Experience with project planning and scheduling tools.
