- Develop and implement career frameworks, conduct compensation reviews, and design performance management programs that are practical and widely adopted.
- Utilize AI and contemporary HR tools to automate routine tasks, allowing focused time on employee engagement rather than administrative duties.
- Ensure full compliance with relevant German and Dutch labor regulations.
Candidate Profile
- Substantial experience as a business partner supporting technology teams in software development and product management, with deep understanding of engineering culture, delivery rhythms, and roadmap planning, preferably within EMEA.
- Extensive background in change management, particularly in enabling cultural transformations during scaling phases.
- Expertise in compensation and benefits tailored for technical teams, with a clear perspective on equitable pay structures.
- Confidence in collaborating with senior leaders and influencing strategic decisions.
- Strong connection and empathy towards technical professionals; an understanding of how engineers and product specialists think and work, with possibly personal interest in coding.
- Awareness of current software industry trends, agile methodologies, recruitment of tech talent, and the impact of AI on development processes.
- Coaching experience is advantageous.
- Familiarity with German labor laws is required; knowledge of Dutch labor law is a plus.
- Fluency in English and business-level German is essential; fluency in Dutch is highly desirable.
- Comfortable working within a distributed team environment valuing talent over location; willingness to travel regularly to Tutzing or Amsterdam for team collaboration.
Benefits & Work Environment
- Truly hybrid working model with modern offices in Germany and the Netherlands and flexibility to work remotely as preferred.
- Modern, spacious office location with scenic views of Lake Starnberg in Tutzing.
- Subsidized meals available at the onsite restaurant.
- Dedicated personal learning and development budget.
- Generous leave policy with 30 vacation days annually plus two additional paid days off on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.
- Provision for up to 20 remote workdays per year from any EU country.
