Senior Orthopedic Physician - Region Trier (m/w/d)

Position Overview

Our client, a stationary rehabilitation clinic in the Region Trier with 800-850 beds, seeks a senior orthopedic physician (Oberarzt) specialized in Orthopedics or Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery. This permanent full-time role involves comprehensive care for patients post-surgery, following accidents, or with chronic orthopedic diseases.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting senior physician ward rounds and performing specialist examinations.
• Providing supervisory oversight and contributing to the training and mentorship of junior doctors.
• Performing functional diagnostics, consultations, and interpreting radiological findings.
• Participating in on-call emergency background duty services.

Qualifications and Skills

• Board certification in Orthopedics or Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery.
• Additional qualification in Social Medicine or a willingness to acquire it.
• Knowledge of radiation protection is desirable.
