Role Overview
The Senior Operations Manager will partner closely with the General Manager to lead daily hotel operations, ensuring superior guest service, streamlined processes, team engagement, and strong financial outcomes. This role offers a critical leadership position with influence over operational and strategic development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and manage all daily operational activities within the hotel promoting top-tier guest experiences and service standards.
- Supervise and collaborate with department heads across Front Office, Food & Beverage, Accommodation, Kitchen, and Maintenance units.
- Champion efficiency and continual service enhancement throughout the hotel.
- Oversee financial indicators including budgeting, payroll, labour costs, and departmental spending to enhance profitability.
- Lead and mentor management teams to cultivate a positive and high-achieving workplace culture.
- Coordinate with teams in Revenue, Sales, Marketing, and HR to meet overarching business goals.
- Guarantee adherence to all legal, operational, and quality regulations.
- Participate in strategic projects aimed at boosting operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, and overall business success.
Candidate Profile
- At least five years of senior leadership experience in a 4-star or 5-star hotel setting.
- Demonstrated competence in managing multiple hotel departments.
- Strong expertise in Food & Beverage operations.
- Proven ability to drive operational enhancements, improve guest satisfaction, and sustain financial growth.
- Sound commercial judgement with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and profit management.
- Excellent leadership, effective communication, and strong stakeholder engagement skills.
- Capability to inspire teams and promote a culture of responsibility and excellence.
