Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mobile Product Designer to lead the full scope of native mobile app design across iOS and Android platforms. This remote-first role is focused on delivering exceptional mobile experiences for users throughout Europe by leveraging native features that transcend web capabilities. Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the user experience for native iOS and Android applications, ensuring smooth, engaging, and top-quality customer journeys.
• Spot opportunities where native mobile functionalities can enhance user value, validating ideas through research, testing, and measurable results prior to rollout.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers to shape product strategy, prioritize initiatives, and contribute equally to roadmap decisions within the product trio.
• Lead discovery phases by challenging assumptions, collecting user feedback, and utilizing both qualitative and quantitative data to guide design choices.
• Drive innovation in mobile user experiences while maintaining design consistency via scalable design systems grounded in user-centered design principles.
• Work alongside engineering teams to ensure designs are practical, accessible, performant, and executed to a high standard.
• Incorporate AI-driven tools and workflows to optimize design processes and enrich customer experience.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of five years designing native mobile apps for iOS and Android, supported by a strong portfolio of launched products.
• Comprehensive knowledge of native mobile interaction patterns, platform standards, motion design, and mobile UX best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to lead product discovery, manage uncertainty, and identify opportunities without relying strictly on preset roadmaps.
• Strong analytical capabilities with experience interpreting product metrics, performing user research, and making data-backed design decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, able to present, defend, and refine design proposals through collaborative feedback.
• Experience in agile, cross-functional environments involving Product, Engineering, Data, and Research teams.
• Hands-on experience leveraging AI tools for design efficiency and interest in emerging AI-enhanced product features.
• Resident of Europe with legal work authorization in a European country; fluency in English required; German language skills advantageous but optional.
