Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Merchandise Planner to join our Merchandise team. You will take accountability for the Open-to-Buy (OTB) system, inventory management, forecasting, and reporting activities. Reporting directly to the Global Merchandise Director, your role is crucial in aligning inventory investments, intake planning, and stock performance with our commercial and financial objectives. Strong collaboration with Buying, Finance, and Operations teams will be essential for driving insights that fuel profitable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and own the comprehensive Open-to-Buy framework for the business
  • Create accurate forecasts, inventory plans, and financial projections
  • Provide weekly and monthly performance analyses including sales, margin, stock health, and inventory efficiency
  • Identify potential risks and opportunities, advising with commercially relevant recommendations
  • Support the budgeting process, periodic reforecasting, and inventory allocation decisions
  • Work closely with Buying, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure aligned planning outcomes
  • Enhance planning procedures, reporting systems, and forecasting models continuously

Candidate Requirements

  • 4 to 6+ years of experience in Merchandise Planning with responsibility for Open-to-Buy frameworks
  • Expertise in retail planning and forecasting methodologies
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets
  • Strong commercial insight, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Previous experience in fashion, retail, or eCommerce sectors
  • Capability to collaborate effectively across various departments within a dynamic, fast-moving business
