Senior Mechanical Technician

Overview

The Senior Mechanical Technician role based in Riyadh involves executing preventive, corrective, and emergency mechanical maintenance on production machinery and plant equipment, ensuring high reliability, availability, and ongoing operational continuity.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of an Industrial High School Diploma or an equivalent qualification.
• Preferably holds a diploma in Mechanical Technology.
• Between 1 to 4 years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance within manufacturing, cement, mining, or industrial plant sectors.
• Proficient in lubrication processes, equipment inspection, troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs.
• Familiar with safety procedures related to maintenance and adherence to work permit requirements.

Primary Duties

• Conduct preventive, corrective, and emergency mechanical maintenance tasks diligently.
• Observe and evaluate production equipment to detect deviations or abnormal operating conditions.
• Perform mechanical repairs, equipment replacement, precise alignment, cutting, grinding, and welding as necessary.
• Assist in lubrication tasks and contribute to initiatives enhancing equipment reliability.
• Ensure maintenance tools and equipment are kept in proper, functional condition.
• Comply rigorously with safety protocols including work permit processes and lockout/tagout (LOTO) practices.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping and uphold safe work environments within maintenance zones.
