Role Overview
The Senior Marketing Manager for Lip Lab will spearhead the design and execution of comprehensive, efficient marketing strategies that shape the future trajectory of this emerging brand. This position involves collaboration across various teams including creative, social media, influencer relations, brand management, and retail operations, ensuring cohesive brand messaging and seamless campaign rollouts.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, lead, and support the delivery of integrated 360-degree marketing plans aligned with brand objectives.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners across paid media, creative content, influencers, events, social media, and stores to meet deadlines and clarify roles and responsibilities.
- Stay attuned to cultural trends, market dynamics, and consumer behavior to craft relevant, compelling marketing narratives.
- Manage the Lip Lab marketing budget, including planning and allocation.
- Oversee the relationship with PR agencies to align initiatives with brand goals.
- Organize and execute 6-8 new store launch events annually, utilizing social media and influencer collaborations to generate buzz and encourage ongoing engagement.
- Guide content strategy and implementation across website, operational, and retail teams.
- Lead monthly performance reporting, offering insights to refine creative strategies and future marketing plans.
- Develop persuasive PowerPoint presentations to support business objectives.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of seven years' marketing experience with strong proficiency in developing and executing multi-channel marketing strategies encompassing digital and traditional platforms.
- Experience in retail or experiential retail marketing with knowledge of North American markets and adaptability for local nuances.
- Data-driven approach with the capability to analyze campaign performance and leverage insights for strategic improvements.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, and pivot rapidly according to business needs.
- Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and field teams.
- Outstanding organizational skills with attention to detail, proactive in addressing challenges by proposing innovative solutions.
- Positive, proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership with a flexible approach to evolving priorities.
Compensation and Benefits
The role offers a salary ranging from $127,100 to $150,900 annually, which will be determined based on experience and location within San Francisco. The position follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring in-office presence Tuesday through Thursday and remote work on Mondays and Fridays.
