Job description
Role overview
This is a senior leadership opportunity for a marketing professional in Canada who will shape and deliver a nationwide strategy for the sleep health market. The position combines commercial growth, healthcare innovation, and patient engagement, with responsibility for improving therapy adoption and strengthening long-term adherence.
The role requires oversight of both provider-facing and consumer-facing marketing programs across multiple channels. Success will depend on close collaboration with sales, product, digital, and communications teams, along with the ability to balance strategic planning with direct execution in a complex, multi-region healthcare setting. The position also has strong visibility across the wider Americas organization.
Core accountabilities
- Build and direct an integrated national marketing plan for providers and consumers that supports commercial priorities across Canada.
- Translate regional healthcare structures into province-specific marketing approaches, taking reimbursement rules and referral patterns into account.
- Prepare campaign concepts, briefs, and measurement frameworks for internal teams and external partners.
- Lead omnichannel programs that increase awareness, adoption, engagement, adherence, and long-term patient retention.
- Support digital patient platforms, resupply initiatives, and lifecycle engagement efforts through targeted marketing activity.
- Make smart investment decisions that improve return on investment, revenue growth, and customer acquisition.
- Work with Sales, Product, Digital, and Communications stakeholders to launch products and run growth campaigns.
- Monitor campaign results, interpret data and market intelligence, and continuously refine performance.
- Develop trusted relationships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, provider networks, and other industry stakeholders.
- Represent the organization at conferences, industry events, and customer engagement activities across Canada.
Requirements
The ideal candidate is an experienced marketing leader with strong commercial judgment, hands-on execution ability, and exposure to healthcare or other regulated environments. The role calls for sharp strategic thinking, strong leadership, and the ability to influence across functions and senior stakeholder groups.
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline; an MBA is advantageous but not mandatory.
- At least 8 years of progressive experience in marketing or commercial roles, including leadership exposure.
- A track record of building and delivering integrated B2B and B2C marketing strategies with clear business impact.
- Solid understanding of the Canadian healthcare system and provincial reimbursement landscapes.
- Proven capability in budget management, investment prioritization, and commercial performance improvement.
- Strong strategic, analytical, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities across varied teams and partners.
- Hands-on experience with marketing and analytics tools such as Funnel.io, Veeva Crossix, Asana, and Adobe products.
- Residence in Canada, with flexibility to travel within the country when required.
- Preferred background in consumer health, wellness brands, eCommerce, patient engagement, or lifecycle marketing.
- Preferred familiarity with AI-enabled marketing tools and data-driven optimization methods.
- Preferred experience working in global or multinational organizations.
Benefits
- Estimated annual base pay of about CAD 124,000 to CAD 155,000, depending on experience and location.
- Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance coverage.
- Health Savings Account and Flexible Spending Account options.
- Employee Stock Purchase Plan and retirement savings support.
- Paid time off covering vacation, public holidays, and additional floating days.
- Paid caregiver leave for new parents, including support for both primary and secondary caregivers.
- Tuition support and employee development programs.
- Flexible work arrangements designed to support work-life balance.
