Job description

About the Role

The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) works to grow Singapore’s air hub and aviation ecosystem, strengthening the country’s connections with the wider world. Through aviation, it creates opportunities, broadens access, and opens up possibilities for people.

In this role, you will join CAAS’ Corporate Communications team, where you will help shape strategic storytelling, protect public confidence, and support CAAS’ reputation as both a trusted regulator and a leader in Singapore’s aviation sector.

Key Responsibilities

You will contribute across brand governance, marketing communications, and events, with a strong focus on consistency, impact, and stakeholder alignment.

  • Act as the custodian of CAAS’ brand by guiding correct brand usage and ensuring a consistent identity across all touchpoints.
  • Review brand relevance, identify gaps, and coordinate with appointed agencies to strengthen and align branding efforts.
  • Track and interpret brand health indicators, including perception research, to improve brand equity over time.
  • Oversee the creation of corporate publications and branding collateral to support a unified brand presence.
  • Design and deliver integrated branding and marketing communication campaigns that advance corporate, sectoral, and employer branding goals.
  • Partner with internal teams and external agencies to develop messaging, narratives, and communication approaches that fit CAAS’ brand position.
  • Assess the impact of branding and marketing initiatives and use learnings to improve future campaigns.
  • Conceptualise and develop CAAS’ exhibition booths and showcase areas for major events, ensuring they reflect the intended brand story and objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to create polished, consistent experiences across both physical and digital channels.

Requirements

  • Background in Mass Communications, Journalism, or a closely related discipline.
  • Between 5 and 8 years of relevant experience in corporate branding, marketing communications, and event management, ideally in the public sector.
  • Ability to think strategically while also executing campaigns and branding work hands-on.
  • Strong content development capability, with the skill to simplify complex matters into clear and engaging narratives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, together with strong interpersonal ability to work with and influence stakeholders.
  • Self-driven, dependable, and able to take ownership of deliverables while maintaining high execution standards.
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Canva and Figma, with Adobe Creative Suite considered an advantage.

Additional Information

The appointment level will depend on the candidate’s relevant experience. The successful candidate will initially be offered a 3-year contract and may later be considered for a permanent appointment or a further contract renewal.

About the Employer

CAAS is responsible for advancing Singapore’s aviation sector and safeguarding its role as a trusted regulator and industry enabler.
