Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Manager to spearhead our Platform Excellence program. This pivotal role involves converting intricate regulatory, payment, and operational priorities into a clear and actionable 12 to 18-month plan featuring defined tasks, responsibilities, milestones, and executive updates. Reporting directly to the Chief of Staff to the CEO, this position requires hands-on leadership and strong coordination across various departments including Product, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Trust & Safety, and Payments. While not responsible for Compliance policy creation, this role ensures effective company decision-making and execution alignment with compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Platform Excellence initiative by creating a comprehensive roadmap that aligns cross-functional priorities with measurable goals
• Facilitate major enterprise decisions by identifying, sequencing, and clarifying complex issues, risks, and tradeoffs to enable timely executive decision-making
• Establish governance frameworks and accountability mechanisms, including meetings, tracking tools, and escalation protocols to maintain program visibility and coordination
• Develop and maintain detailed, audit-ready documentation such as decision logs, risk registers, and current roadmaps to provide transparent records of progress and outcomes
• Prepare concise, executive-level updates and materials for board and leadership audiences, translating technical and regulatory data into actionable guidance
• Ensure cross-departmental execution by exposing potential risks, addressing challenges proactively, and fostering alignment through influence rather than authority
• Link high-level strategic planning with granular program delivery to synchronize decisions and operational realities
• Build automated systems and workflows to replace manual progress tracking, enhancing efficiency and follow-through
• Develop trusted, collaborative partnerships across multiple business units to navigate regulatory, operational, and platform complexities seamlessly

Candidate Profile

• Possess over eight years of substantial experience in leading enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, program management, business operations, or compliance within industries such as fintech, payments, or e-commerce
• Have held senior managerial or advanced individual contributor roles with enterprise-wide impact
• Demonstrate proficiency in managing multi-quarter roadmaps, comprehensive planning, risk management, and maintaining operating rhythms that ensure accountability across functions
• Experience supporting regulatory remediation or compliance-driven transformation programs requiring meticulous documentation and audit readiness
• Capable of rapidly acquiring deep understanding of complex regulatory, risk, and business environments to take ownership of critical programs
• Strong communicator skilled in translating complexity into clear, actionable insights suitable for executive leadership
• Comfortable balancing enterprise-level strategy formulation with detailed program execution responsibilities
• Effective at influencing and aligning diverse stakeholders, adept at navigating priorities without needing perfect information
• Prior experience in roles such as Chief of Staff, Strategic Initiatives lead, Business Operations, or Enterprise Transformation is advantageous
• Strategy consulting background combined with hands-on operational experience in regulated sectors is a plus

Additional Information

The annual salary range in the United States for this full-time position is $185,000 to $278,000, with the company providing equity and benefits including healthcare, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) savings plan.
