Overview

This position is offered on behalf of a partner organization seeking a Senior Manager to lead site relationship and engagement initiatives within oncology clinical research across the United States. The role focuses on cultivating strategic partnerships to enhance clinical trial performance and expedite patient access to cutting-edge treatments. Operating remotely, the Senior Manager will collaborate with global stakeholders to align site insights with operational objectives in a healthcare-driven mission environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute strategies for developing and engaging oncology clinical trial site relationships.
  • Establish and nurture enduring partnerships with prominent clinical research sites and networks.
  • Utilize data analytics to identify and prioritize top-performing site partners for accurate trial planning and dependable delivery.
  • Work closely with feasibility, clinical operations, project management, and other teams to integrate site perspectives into trial strategizing.
  • Engage partners during pre-award phases to uncover opportunities, refine study planning, and assist proposal preparations.
  • Oversee trial progress after award to ensure smooth startup, communication, and operational alignment.
  • Represent site engagement approaches in client presentations, bid defenses, and strategic meetings.
  • Track key site performance metrics to recognize improvements in engagement processes and trial results.
  • Identify operational challenges and risks, recommending effective solutions to boost clinical trial outcomes.
  • Contribute to continual improvement efforts by disseminating site knowledge and best practices within teams.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, clinical research, healthcare, or related discipline; advanced degrees or certifications advantageous.
  • Prior work experience within oncology clinical trial sites, site networks, or analogous clinical research environments required.
  • Comprehensive understanding of CRO partnerships, site selection procedures, feasibility assessments, and study startup challenges.
  • Proven track record of fostering and managing collaborations with clinical research sites, sponsors, and CRO partners.
  • Background in oncology feasibility, site identification, clinical operations, or pharmaceutical research environments.
  • Knowledge of clinical trial design, recruitment methodologies, regulatory standards, and global site selection frameworks.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and projects effectively in a dynamic setting.
  • Strong analytical capabilities to interpret data for strategic decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and external partners at various organizational tiers.
  • Leadership qualities enabling influence without direct authority.
