Role overview
This is a senior on-site Quality & Food Safety leadership position for PepsiCo’s Kolkata plant. The role is responsible for shaping and executing the plant’s QFS approach, ensuring regulatory and internal standards are met, and strengthening the site’s quality systems and team capabilities in line with AMESA expectations.
Key responsibilities
- Own and lead the overall Food Safety and Quality strategy for plant operations.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with HACCP, FSSC 22000 / ISO 22000, FSSAI, and PepsiCo QFS requirements.
- Maintain strong audit preparedness, product traceability, and governance controls.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams on process safety, innovation initiatives, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and reinforce plant-level QFS systems, processes, and competency.
Candidate profile
The ideal applicant brings substantial experience in FMCG or food manufacturing, with strong command over food safety systems, quality management, plant-level operations, audit handling, and leadership of stakeholders.
