Role Responsibilities

  • Oversee projects including capital expenditure planning, design approval, coordination of Good For Construction (GFC) drawings, execution, quality assurance, safety management, and final handover of projects to operations teams.
  • Design and implement project execution and maintenance procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs) across all zones nationwide.
  • Prepare and obtain approvals for Capex budgets from CFO and CEO for new stores, zonal office fit-outs, maintenance, and renovation projects.
  • Review designs and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for retail stores and zonal office projects focusing on value engineering and cost reduction for upcoming projects.
  • Ensure timely release of Purchase Orders for goods and services related to new projects within defined turnaround time (TAT).
  • Lead weekly progress meetings with architects, project managers, contractors, vendors, and contracts teams to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Conduct site visits across zones to evaluate project progress, work quality, and vendor performance.
  • Develop risk mitigation plans for active projects and prepare execution and maintenance plans for Samsung stores, service centers, and SIS projects.
  • Collaborate with business teams and architects to assess and finalize potential new store locations in alignment with business strategy.
  • Create and secure budget approvals for new projects through CAPEX proposals.
  • Plan store layouts and develop working drawings in coordination with architects, operations, visual merchandising, and product teams, ensuring consistency with brand identity.
  • Define key cost, time, safety, and quality benchmarks to establish project baselines; oversee seamless initiation, execution, and closure of projects, including final vendor bill settlements and maintenance during the Defect Liability Period.
  • Manage initiation and execution of Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) with vendors covering assets like HVAC, fire fighting systems, access control, CCTV, and AV systems.
