Job Overview
The Senior Manager - International ESG is responsible for guaranteeing that all Emirates Global Aluminium's (EGA) international subsidiaries comply with comprehensive Environment, Sustainability, and Governance policies, procedures, and reporting protocols. This role ensures that global operations are aligned with EGA’s overarching ESG strategy by establishing and executing relevant key performance indicators (KPIs) and meeting international and corporate ESG standards.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and monitor ESG policies and procedures across all international subsidiaries, ensuring both global alignment and compliance with local laws.
- Create measurable ESG KPIs tailored for different subsidiaries while maintaining conformity with EGA’s global reporting framework.
- Manage the accuracy and timely collection, validation, and reporting of ESG data from international branches to support global disclosures.
- Collaborate with subsidiary leaders, regional teams, and external stakeholders to ensure consistent execution of ESG initiatives and cultivate a sustainability-focused culture.
- Develop and conduct training programs meant to educate teams about ESG policies, procedures, and reporting necessities.
- Identify ESG-associated risks within international operations and offer strategic recommendations to mitigate those risks and improve sustainability outcomes.
- Stay informed on worldwide ESG trends, regulations, and best practices to recommend necessary updates that preserve EGA’s leadership in sustainability.
- Work cross-functionally with finance, operations, legal, and other departments to integrate ESG elements into business strategies and decision-making processes.

- Operate within established policies, standards, and objectives, while managing work direction and output accordingly.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a relevant field; advanced degrees or pertinent certifications are preferred.
- At least 12 years of professional experience in ESG, sustainability, or corporate social responsibility, including a minimum of 5 years within a global or international environment.
- Documented history of developing and executing ESG policies, procedural frameworks, or reporting systems.
Skills and Competencies
- In-depth knowledge of global ESG frameworks and compliance standards.
- Strong project management and organizational capabilities with multi-regional prioritization skills.
- Proficient analytical skills for defining, assessing, and reporting ESG KPIs.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, capable of influencing diverse teams.
- Experience with data analytics tools and ESG reporting software.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous for interaction with international teams.
