Job description
Overview
As a member of the Ministry of Health's Organisational Development Office (ODO), you will be integral to fostering a positive culture of engagement and productivity while enabling the Ministry's systems and practices to function efficiently today and be prepared for future transformations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the MOH Public Sector Transformation (PST) fund by managing the budget framework, evaluation procedures, governance, project proposal coordination, fund allocation, and budget monitoring.
- Collaborate with various contacts within the Ministry Family to track progress and ensure optimal use of allocated budgets.
- Promote a culture of innovation by administering the PST awards and recognition programs.
- Drive organisational excellence by implementing process improvement strategies and innovation projects, facilitating capability development, and promoting adoption of innovative solutions across MOH.
- Identify and prioritise opportunities to enhance operational efficiency through detailed analysis and stakeholder engagement.
- Partner with internal teams to resolve issues and coordinate improvements within workplace systems and processes.
- Contribute to additional ODO initiatives supporting employee engagement and organisational culture building.
Candidate Profile
- Possess relevant qualifications in public policy, digital transformation, organisational development, finance, or related fields.
- Experience in public sector, healthcare, and/or grant management is a plus.
- Skilled in budget or grant management, including proposal evaluation and funding allocation management.
- Proven track record in leading organisational and process improvement projects with measurable results.
- Strong facilitation skills and ability to collaborate effectively with leadership and diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent consultancy capabilities to guide teams through improvement processes.
- Superior project and programme management skills capable of handling multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Critical and systems thinking proficiency.
- Effective stakeholder communication and relationship management abilities.
- Detail-oriented with meticulous organizational skills.
- Ability to operate independently and collaboratively within a dynamic, complex environment.
