Position Overview

As part of the Data Strategy and Operations team within the Value Chain Management organization of the Innovative Medicine Supply Chain (IMSC), this role leads the design and execution of end-to-end data architecture for the Deliver domain. The Senior Manager will ensure data products adhere to FAIR principles and align with IMSC Data Architecture to enhance supply chain functions across systems.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive FAIR data products across master and transactional data to support analytics initiatives.
  • Formulate, maintain, and advance conceptual and logical business information policies that direct data product design and modeling.
  • Partner closely with domain Data Owners to define domain roadmaps, allocate resources, and manage budgets.
  • Establish metadata standards and implement data quality frameworks ensuring high-quality FAIR data products throughout their lifecycle.
  • Support IMSC Data Governance efforts with Data Owners to embed governance practices within data domains.
  • Drive automation and process simplification by integrating advanced technologies such as AI agents into data design, asset creation, and quality control workflows.
  • Collaborate with J&J Technology partners to evolve an end-to-end data stack capable of supporting future AI applications.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Business, Technology, Computer Science, or a related field focusing on data management, data science, analytics, AI, or machine learning.
  • Extensive experience in data modeling techniques including medallion architecture, Data Vault, Data Marts, and OBT.
  • Proficiency with cutting-edge data technologies such as workflow solutions for master data, data catalogs, Lakehouse architectures, and ontology management.
  • Minimum of 5 years working within pharmaceutical global supply chains.
  • Experience leading multi-year strategic initiatives or technology deployments centered on information or data management capabilities.
  • Proven ability to build collaborative partnerships and inspire change within complex organizational ecosystems.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences at various organizational levels.
  • Highly motivated, accountable, and committed to continuous professional growth.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with industry data standards such as FAIR, IDMP, and ISO.
  • Understanding of compliance requirements related to data management.
  • Prior experience in the healthcare sector.

Additional Information

  • Position entails approximately 10% international travel.
