About the Company
foodpanda is part of the Delivery Hero Group, a global local delivery platform focused on making delivery fast, simple, and convenient. The business operates in about 65 countries, is based in Berlin, Germany, and Delivery Hero has been publicly listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since 2017 as part of the MDAX index.
Role Overview
Quick commerce is a key growth priority, and customer experience sits at the center of its success. In this position, you will lead the economic framework supporting quick commerce user growth across several markets, with primary responsibility for QC MAU penetration and trials while protecting cost discipline.
You will shape incentive approaches, define repeatable standards, and work in close partnership with Pricing, Commercial, and Subscription teams to drive growth without weakening unit economics. Acting as a strategic owner, you will track results, investigate performance gaps, and coordinate cross-functional action that balances expansion goals with financial rigor.
This opportunity suits someone who likes to manage the business end-to-end, question assumptions, and guide senior partners using sharp, evidence-based insights.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of quick commerce growth outcomes across markets, with accountability for QC MAU percentage and QC trials through market-specific strategies, initiative design, and alignment across teams on new opportunities.
- Review weekly financial performance and pinpoint inefficiencies in incentives or cost structure.
- Create and implement consistent incentive guidelines for QC to support growth that can scale over time.
- Work with local growth and commercial teams to plan and execute incentive initiatives.
- Develop standard operating principles for incentives together with cross-functional partners.
- Drive cross-functional projects with a strong emphasis on unit economics.
- Prepare concise, action-oriented performance updates and economic recommendations for senior leaders.
- Perform detailed analysis to explain significant changes in growth or cost performance.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree with strong academic results.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in strategy, consulting, finance, growth, or technology-led businesses.
- Strong analytical ability, including comfort working with P&L, ROI, and economic trade-offs.
- Proven experience influencing senior stakeholders across multiple functions.
- Strong prioritization skills, a bias for execution, and an ROI-driven approach.
- Clear and structured communication skills, along with solid business judgment.
- High accountability and the ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations.
- Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets; SQL knowledge is an advantage.
