Role overview
The company is looking for a Director of Pricing for APAC & Europe to join the Marketing team and report to the Senior Director of Global Pricing & Subscription. This leadership role will shape pricing direction across multiple brands and markets while influencing global pricing strategy and business growth.
What you will do
You will own pricing strategy execution across 15+ markets in APAC and Europe, spanning the Foodora, foodpanda, and Yemeksepti brands. The role includes leading pricing roadmap development, aligning stakeholders across marketing, product, data, analytics, and management, and driving initiatives that improve profitability, affordability, and market position.
- Set and implement pricing strategy across more than 15 markets in APAC and Europe.
- Lead strategic pricing improvements, including experimentation, operating models, tooling, automation, and AI-enabled solutions.
- Identify, validate, and scale pricing opportunities that increase willingness to pay without harming price fairness or competitiveness.
- Coordinate the pricing experimentation roadmap with cross-functional teams and local market partners.
- Work with product teams to shape customer-facing features that clearly communicate fees in the consumer app.
- Own customer fee P&L targets and delivery for line items worth hundreds of millions of euros.
- Lead and develop a team of about 10 pricing managers and analysts while ensuring alignment across global and regional functions.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in pricing, analytics, top-tier consulting, or a closely related area.
- A bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, or another quantitative discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with hands-on experience using SQL and Python or R.
- Ability to work effectively with senior leaders and diverse stakeholders in complex environments.
- A proactive, self-driven approach with strong comfort solving difficult problems independently.
- Well-developed presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, especially in matrixed organizations.
