About the Role
The Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will take charge of the FP&A function at Modon Communities. This role focuses on leading strategic financial planning, detailed budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring across all business segments. Partnering closely with senior leadership, the manager ensures financial insights align with the company’s objectives, promotes best practice FP&A methodologies, and drives the implementation of digital financial dashboards to support data-driven leadership decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of five-year business plans, annual budgets, and rolling forecasts, ensuring they meet business goals and shareholder expectations.
- Track actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts, delivering insightful analyses with actionable recommendations for leadership.
- Work collaboratively with asset managers, segment heads, and other operational leaders to link business drivers to financial results.
- Champion strategic initiatives including cost reduction, operational efficiency improvements, capital allocation, and funding analysis.
- Implement globally recognized FP&A best practices such as driver-based planning, scenario modeling, zero-based budgeting, and predictive forecasting to improve financial management.
- Oversee the design and deployment of automated financial dashboards and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI), working closely with the Group IT team to provide timely insights.
- Ensure all FP&A activities comply with group governance standards, policies, and control frameworks while maintaining adaptability.
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performance FP&A team, fostering strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and strong business acumen.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business administration; a Master’s degree such as an MBA is preferred.
- Professional financial certification required: CFA, CGMA, or CPA/ACCA.
- Minimum of 15 years in finance, including at least 5 years in senior leadership roles within FP&A, preferably in large, diversified or asset-heavy companies.
- Proven expertise in financial planning, forecasting, scenario analysis, and decision support frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, notably Oracle Fusion, and advanced data visualization platforms like Power BI.
