Position Overview

This contract role seeks a finance expert skilled in FP&A, controllership, and operating finance. The opportunity is fully remote with an hourly pay range from $95 to $125.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate budgets, financial forecasts, scenario analyses, and variance reports.
• Create or audit board-level reports, establish KPI definitions, conduct cohort studies, and analyze unit economics.
• Investigate revenue trends, sales pipelines, operational drivers, and cross-departmental planning assumptions.
• Assess financial close procedures, consolidation processes, revenue recognition, and internal controls.
• Detect calculation inaccuracies, inconsistent terminologies, weak assumptions, and conclusions not supported by management data.
• Communicate analysis outcomes through clear, logically organized written explanations.

Required Qualifications

• Between 5 to 10 years of pertinent FP&A experience or 6 to 12 years in controllership roles for hands-on practitioners; a senior reviewer track requires 10 to 18 years.
• Professional background in FP&A, strategic finance, revenue operations, business intelligence, controllership, accounting, or similarly related financial operations roles.
• Proficient skills in advanced financial modeling, management reporting, and collaborating as a business partner.
• Strong preference for CPA certification for candidates focused on accounting and controllership duties.
• Exceptional written communication skills capable of linking financial outcomes to operational factors.
• Experience in team review, owning financial closes, and presenting insights to senior executives is highly valued for senior roles.
