Role Overview
This position is responsible for leading finance planning and analysis activities for the business unit, ensuring that policies, processes, and reporting practices are aligned with Group CFO Office standards. The role also supports business planning, project financing, budgeting, performance analysis, and senior leadership reviews across a multi-entity and multi-location setup.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of BU-level FP&A policies and operating guidelines, keeping them aligned with the procedures and directions issued by the Group CFO Office.
- Coordinate the preparation of project DPRs and support financial closure in partnership with the BU Controller.
- Prepare banker presentations and other required documents to secure funding approvals.
- Drive the annual BU budgeting cycle and ensure budgets are prepared accurately and on time in coordination with project, marketing, business development, operations, and services teams.
- Support business planning and strategic decisions related to new projects and major operating initiatives.
- For BU operations, understand the business model and help functions such as marketing, operations, and business development refine cost and revenue drivers by benchmarking against industry practices.
- Lead the FP&A process for BU operations.
- Build an integrated view of business performance against plan across a multi-entity, multi-location environment that includes both project and operational spending.
- Assist the BU Controller in performance reviews with the CEO’s Office and Chairman’s Office FP&A, covering both project and operating performance.
- Conduct detailed analysis of the root causes behind financial performance variances and work with project and business teams on corrective actions.
- Work closely with the BU Controller during periodic business performance reviews with the COO, CEO, and the CEO, and coordinate with the BU CFO for periodic financial reviews with the Chairman’s Office.
