Company Overview

Position Summary

This role supports the Head of Corporate Finance by overseeing financing transactions, managing banking relations, administering debt portfolios, and executing strategic financing efforts across AEW's entities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in executing corporate finance transactions across AEW’s portfolio.
  • Coordinate dealings with banks, lenders, advisors, rating agencies, and legal teams.
  • Review financing proposals, term sheets, and facility agreements for compliance and accuracy.
  • Monitor debt facilities, repayment schedules, and ensure adherence to covenant terms.
  • Support credit rating initiatives and maintain updated financing databases and documentation.
  • Build and sustain daily interactions with banking partners, managing inquiries, renewals, and contract amendments.
  • Track utilization, pricing, credit limits, and renewal prerequisites for various financial facilities.
  • Assist liquidity planning for corporate finance operations, including payment execution and bank account monitoring to secure timely fund availability.
  • Administer issuance and renewal of bid bonds, performance bonds, and letters of credit.
  • Oversee management of Equity Bridge Loan facilities.
  • Maintain comprehensive corporate finance exposure reports and financial documentation packages.
  • Support financial analyses related to ongoing and future financing activities.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Professional credentials such as SOCPA, CFA, or CTP are advantageous.
  • Minimum five years of relevant experience in corporate finance, treasury, corporate banking, credit administration, or financial institutions.
  • Experience in infrastructure, energy, utilities, project finance, or holding company operations is preferred.
