Job description
Role and Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete Accounts Receivable cycle including Order-to-Cash (OTC), billing, collections, cash application, and customer account management to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Execute timely collections from customers, perform bank reconciliations, manage ageing analysis, set aside provisions, post journal entries, and handle period-end closing procedures.
- Monitor Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), track overdue receivables, resolve customer disputes and deductions, and develop effective collection strategies to optimize cash flow.
- Lead assessments of customer creditworthiness, conduct annual credit limit reviews, and initiate measures to enhance working capital efficiency.
- Manage compliance related to export receivables, including processes such as EDPMS, eBRC, Shipping Bills, RBI regulations, DGFT guidelines, Customs clearances, and coordinate with banking institutions.
- Compile and present MIS reports, AR dashboards, management summaries, financial disclosures as per Schedule III, and undertake comprehensive working capital analysis.
- Support various audits including statutory, internal, tax, and regulatory by ensuring submission of schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documents on time.
- Champion automation efforts, standardize processes, drive digital transformation, and continuously enhance receivables operations.
Candidate Profile
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost & Management Accountant (CMA) qualification preferred with 10 to 15 years of significant experience in related functions.
- Extensive expertise in Accounts Receivable, OTC, Billing, Collections, Cash Application, Credit Control, and Receivables Accounting.
- Proficient in SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, and specialized AR reporting tools.
- In-depth understanding of Export Receivables compliance including EDPMS, eBRC, Shipping Bills, RBI regulations, DGFT, and banking operations.
