Role Scope
As part of the Products & Regulatory Legal Group, you will collaborate with engineering, operations, government affairs, and marketing teams, as well as other legal divisions, providing critical support that facilitates Apple’s technological advancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Apple’s engineering, business, and government affairs units to navigate complex regulatory frameworks, predominantly across the EMEIA territory.
- Interpret and advise on a broad spectrum of regulatory statutes, including but not limited to the Data Act, AI Act, Cyber Resilience Act, NIS 2, Digital Fairness Act, and Digital Networks Act.
- Lead or coordinate engagements with regulatory bodies across various technological domains, employing innovative and flexible legal strategies.
- Work alongside legal colleagues, government affairs, and cross-functional teams to mitigate risks and influence business strategies and policies.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years’ experience handling regulatory affairs related to EU privacy, data protection, AI legislation, cybersecurity laws, or comparable digital regulations, acquired in a top-tier law firm, corporate legal department, or regulatory agency.
