We focus on creating sophisticated online booking platforms catering to a wide range of clients such as individual travelers, travel agents, and corporate travel organizers. Our technology enables hoteliers to easily present their offerings, increasing exposure and attracting more customers.

Our goal is to develop, distribute, and manage the most user-friendly travel products available. We continuously innovate and challenge the norms within the complex travel industry to make travel more accessible for individuals, more beneficial for professionals, and simpler for all involved.

Role Location

This is a fully remote position open to candidates living in Europe, the USA, and the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial contracting by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements and publicly-facing legal documents that support business expansion and risk mitigation.
  • Design contractual structures, identify both legal and business risks, and propose actionable, commercially oriented solutions.
  • Provide legal support for product development and business operations, including launching new travel products, booking procedures, payment methods, and commercial frameworks across various legal jurisdictions.
  • Advise on legal and regulatory aspects of booking processes, supplementary products, customer experience features like cancellations and refunds.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure business, contractual, and payment processes comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Assist with global growth efforts including market entry, regulatory evaluations, and the introduction of new business paradigms.
  • Stay current on legal and regulatory changes impacting multiple jurisdictions and assess their implications on the business.
  • Provide guidance regarding online travel business regulations including but not limited to consumer protection, e-commerce, package travel, liability, payment regulations, and digital platform rules.
  • Advise on payment structures, merchant models, integration with payment service providers, and regulatory considerations in international payments.
  • Lead the implementation of regulatory updates, supervise external legal counsel across different countries, and translate local legal advice into scalable business strategies.

Candidate Requirements

  • Licensed to practice law in England & Wales, the United States, or an EU member country.
  • At least seven years of post-qualification experience, notably with substantial in-house legal roles in international consumer technology, digital platforms, or travel tech companies spanning the EU, UK, and US.
  • Extensive experience working in-house at Online Travel Agencies, bedbanks, travel marketplaces, travel distribution platforms, or similar travel technology firms on an international scale.
  • Solid expertise in international contracting covering both common law and civil law jurisdictions and managing cross-border commercial legal matters.
  • Deep understanding of EU, UK, and US legal frameworks affecting online travel businesses, including consumer protection, e-commerce, package travel, intermediary liability, payment processing regulations, digital platform laws, and consumer privacy standards.
  • Experience providing comprehensive commercial and product-related legal counsel across multiple European countries (both common and civil law systems) and North America.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently handle intricate international legal issues and coordinate multiple external law firms effectively.
  • Strong project management capabilities with experience leading cross-department projects, managing stakeholders, and ensuring legal solutions are implemented.
  • Skilled at evaluating legal risks pragmatically and advising practical business solutions.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Benefits and Perks

  • Supportive, ambitious team culture with emphasis on collaboration and personal growth.
