Job description
About SHEGLAM
SHEGLAM is a beauty brand built around creativity, experimentation, and self-expression. Its product range is positioned as glamorous yet affordable, with the idea that beauty should be shaped by the individual rather than by budget.
Role Overview
The Senior Key Account Sales/Manager will be responsible for overseeing the everyday performance of retail accounts and stores. The role centers on keeping customers satisfied while also supporting commercial success. It calls for a highly organized, energetic professional who can work confidently with multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
You will manage a portfolio of client accounts in line with SHEGLAM’s and each retailer’s strategy. A major part of the role is building annual business and trade marketing plans that drive growth across sell-out, market share, ranking, and account profitability.
You will also handle negotiations with clients on major launches, shelf space, store placement, and inventory. Building long-term partnerships and maintaining strong trade marketing relationships will be an important part of the job.
In coordination with central Trade Marketing and Retail Education teams, you will help design and roll out trade marketing, activation, merchandising, and training plans, while also tracking the return on investment of each activity. The role includes supporting account growth, including e-retail.
Another core responsibility is improving account performance through P&L management and stock agreement oversight with trade partners. You will monitor contracts and invoices connected to the brand and prepare as well as lead brand strategy meetings with trade marketing.
You will coordinate and coach all account contacts, engage retail teams in executing trade plans, and align with internal functions such as sales, supply chain, marketing, customer service, education, merchandising, and legal. You will also collaborate closely with other account managers and retail teams, while representing the retailer or client internally.
Requirements
The right candidate should bring strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills. You should be comfortable generating ideas, meeting deadlines, and working both independently and as part of a team.
A solid background in beauty retail and account management is required, with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the designated market. A well-established network and strong client relationships are important, and fluency in both German and English is essential.
Additional Information
This is a full-time, onsite position based in Berlin, Germany.
