About the Role
Mattel, a global leader in toys and entertainment, is seeking a Senior IT Business Analyst to manage and lead business analysis for Logistics and Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) operations in Hyderabad, India. This role emphasizes experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Order Management Systems (OMS), especially Blue Yonder (BY) WMS and IBM Distributed Order Management (DOM).
As a key partner to business stakeholders, the role involves gathering comprehensive requirements and use cases, authoring detailed user stories with acceptance criteria, mapping system integrations, conducting testing and defect resolution, and providing support during go-live and hypercare phases. The position requires onsite presence in Hyderabad for four days weekly, with coordination aligned to US Eastern Standard Time schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end business analysis for IT solutions supporting global Logistics and DTC functions.
- Collect and document both functional and technical requirements, including user stories for implementations and enhancements of WMS and OMS.
- Collaborate effectively with business units, IT architects, vendors, and internal teams through all phases including design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Provide leadership on Blue Yonder WMS and IBM DOM platforms.
- Ensure effective integrations between systems including e-commerce, transportation management, and international logistics partners.
- Support hypercare and ongoing production operations to maintain system reliability and expedite issue resolution.
- Maintain detailed project documents such as requirements specs, test plans, deployment guides, and training materials.
- Stay informed on emerging logistics technologies and industry best practices.
- Facilitate communication between offshore and onshore teams to ensure clarity and alignment around requirements and use cases.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of five years' experience as an IT Business Analyst or IT Product Owner, with at least three years focused on logistics or supply chain technologies.
- Experience of three or more years using Agile SAFe methodology and JIRA for delivery.
- Preferred certification as an Agile SAFe Product Owner or Product Manager.
- Proven expertise writing detailed functional and technical user stories, acceptance criteria, and interface mappings.
- Demonstrated track record implementing and supporting WMS and OMS in complex environments.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, DTC fulfillment, and global logistics processes.
- Practical experience with Blue Yonder WMS, IBM DOM, and Oracle ERP is advantageous.
- In-depth knowledge of system integration techniques, APIs, middleware, and data mapping.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder communication, and team coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively within dynamic, fast-paced, international environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related disciplines; Master’s degree preferred.
