Role Details
This role is primarily located in Brisbane but offers flexible work arrangements including remote options at regional QBCC offices such as Cairns, Townsville, Mackay, Rockhampton, Maryborough, Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba, and Gold Coast depending on availability. Occasional travel to the Brisbane headquarters may be necessary for those stationed regionally.
Responsibilities include conducting thorough and delicate investigations into potential breaches of QBCC legislation. Tasks involve collecting and analyzing evidence, interpreting laws, providing expert advice, preparing cases for legal proceedings, and representing QBCC in tribunals and courts. The position requires interaction with diverse stakeholders, influencing decision-making processes and contributing to strategic enforcement activities that safeguard consumers and promote industry confidence.
