Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Senior Human Resources Officer to oversee and manage daily human resource functions throughout the employee lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be experienced in recruitment, employee relations, performance monitoring, HR administration, and well-versed with UAE Labour Law. This position demands outstanding communication, organizational expertise, and the capacity to collaborate effectively with both management and employees to ensure smooth HR operations.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment activities including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating hiring procedures.
  • Draft job offers, prepare employment contracts, and handle onboarding documentation.
  • Manage employee orientation processes for seamless integration.
  • Maintain comprehensive recruitment logs and reports.
  • Keep employee records and HR databases accurate and updated.
  • Produce HR letters, certificates, and documents related to employment.
  • Track employee probation timelines and contract renewals; ensure complete employee files.
  • Serve as the primary contact for employee HR queries and assist managers with employee relations.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution while ensuring conformity with organizational policies.
  • Foster a positive workplace environment.
  • Coordinate annual performance reviews and track progress of development plans.
  • Manage records of performance evaluations.
  • Administer internal and external training schedules and maintain training documentation.
  • Identify training needs across departments to support staff development.
  • Prepare monthly HR data for payroll processes and coordinate leave, attendance, and overtime tracking.
  • Support payroll validation by ensuring employee data accuracy.
  • Ensure strict adherence to UAE Labour Laws and internal policies.
  • Support HR audits and safeguard employee confidentiality.
  • Assist in formulating and revising HR policies and procedures.
  • Produce regular HR reports and dashboards covering headcount, turnover, recruitment, leave, training, and performance status.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 4 to 6 years of professional human resources experience, preferably in a generalist capacity.
  • Proficient understanding of UAE Labour Law.
  • Experience in recruitment and HR operations.
  • Competence in HRIS or ERP platforms.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Superior organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Discrete handling of confidential information with professionalism.
  • Robust problem-solving and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Attributes

  • HR certifications such as CHRP, CIPD, SHRM, PHR, or equivalent are advantageous.
  • Experience in fast-paced work environments.
  • Familiarity with HR metrics and reporting.
