Position Summary
The Senior Human Resources Business Partner will act as a strategic consultant and benefits program administrator. This role involves aligning human resources practices with organizational goals to boost effectiveness, enhance employee engagement and retention, and ensure compliance with employment regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead benefits programs inclusive of employee enrollment, education efforts, open enrollment processes, vendor coordination, and resolving employee concerns.
- Collaborate with leadership to promote employee awareness and utilization of benefits offerings.
- Oversee administration of leave programs such as FMLA, ADA accommodations, and workers' compensation.
- Partner with leaders to align HR initiatives with business strategy, workforce planning, and organizational growth.
- Provide expert advice on employee relations, performance management, talent development, and organizational efficiency.
- Lead core HR initiatives including compensation reviews, performance appraisal, employee engagement, and retention programs.
- Analyze human resources metrics and workforce trends to provide insights for business decision-making.
- Conduct workplace investigations and manage complex employee relations cases with recommended resolutions.
- Support disciplinary procedures, corrective actions, and terminations ensuring consistency and compliance with policy.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Develop, review, and uphold HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Manage employee lifecycle processes such as onboarding, offboarding, transfers, promotions, and organizational changes.
- Maintain accurate employee data and ensure integrity in HR information systems.
- Support talent management, succession planning, leadership development, and strategic workforce initiatives.
- Ensure completion of mandatory compliance, safety, and professional training programs.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition for support in hiring, interviewing, and onboarding when necessary.
- Coordinate background checks, employment verifications, and document management.
- Lead HR projects and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and employee experience.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related disciplines is required.
- At least 7 to 10 years of advancing Human Resources experience, encompassing service as an HR Business Partner.
Preferred Experience
- Strong background experience in benefits administration, employee leave management, and vendor coordination.
- Experience within technical, engineering, manufacturing, aerospace, or comparable operational sectors.
- Familiarity working in fast-growing or rapidly changing organizational environments.
- Expertise in compensation strategies, workforce planning, and organizational development.
- Experience supporting employees across multiple states.

- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building capabilities, with skill in influencing at all organizational levels.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including abilities in conflict resolution, coaching, and negotiation.
- High professional integrity, discretion, and ethical standards.

- Business acumen geared towards driving change and leading HR efforts successfully.
Technology Proficiencies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experienced with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).
- Familiar with benefits administration and leave management platforms.
- Knowledgeable in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), performance management systems, HR analytics tools, and virtual collaboration platforms like Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
Physical and Work Environment Requirements
- Capable of working in standard office or remote settings.
- Able to operate computer and office equipment for extended durations.
- Effective communication via phone, video, and in-person meetings.
- Willingness to work outside standard hours to support a global workforce across different time zones.
- Ability to travel as required to support business objectives, employee engagement, and organizational needs.
