Job description
About Decagon
Decagon is a conversational AI platform focused on helping brands deliver high-touch customer experiences. Its technology is used by major enterprises such as Avis Budget Group, Block’s Cash App and Square, Chime, Oura Health, and Hunter Douglas to run AI agents across voice, chat, email, SMS, and other customer communication channels.
The company is working toward a future where customer support becomes faster, more personal, and more meaningful—moving beyond long wait times and impersonal ticketing. Decagon is supported by investors including a16z, Accel, Bain Capital Ventures, Coatue, and Index Ventures.
Decagon operates as an in-office organization with a strong emphasis on speed, excellence, and team alignment. Its core principles include getting things done, building what customers truly want, maintaining a winner’s mindset, and valuing broad, cross-functional thinking.
About the Team
The Talent team works closely with leadership to design the organization, define hiring standards, and bring in the people who will help shape the company’s next stage of growth. - Proven experience building and scaling strong talent teams in competitive hiring environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders and candidates.
- Comfort working through ambiguity in a fast-moving setting.
Preferred Background
- Strong understanding of the AI talent market and an established network of high-caliber candidates.
- Ability to use data to remove hiring bottlenecks and support better decisions.
- A strong instinct for identifying exceptional talent and a clear view of what distinguishes top performers.
Compensation
The role is offered with a base compensation range of $180,000 to $240,000, plus equity.

- Flexible vacation policy, subject to local rules; UK employees receive 25 days of statutory leave.
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees and their families.
