Role Overview

This position is for a Senior GRC Systems (Archer) Administrator responsible for configuring, supporting, and improving the RSA Archer GRC platform, including third-party risk management functionality. The role combines hands-on platform administration with a strong understanding of governance, risk, compliance, audit, issue management, and vendor risk processes.

Key Responsibilities

You will work across platform setup, process enablement, integrations, reporting, and end-user support while partnering with business and technical teams to deliver practical GRC solutions.

Platform Configuration and Administration

  • Set up and maintain the RSA Archer environment in line with business needs.
  • Design and maintain data structures such as fields, forms, relationships, and record layouts.
  • Create workflows, approval paths, and automation logic.
  • Manage user roles, permissions, and access settings according to security standards.
  • Oversee updates, patches, and overall platform health.
  • Help keep the system stable, responsive, and available.

GRC Process Support

  • Support risk, compliance, audit, and issue management activities through thoughtful platform design.
  • Work with stakeholders to convert business needs into technical solutions.
  • Build solutions that align with frameworks such as ISO, NIST, and SOX.
  • Keep clear records of workflows, system settings, and GRC procedures.
  • Collaborate with risk, compliance, and audit functions to improve efficiency.

Integration and Data Management

  • Set up and maintain integrations, APIs, and data connectors between Archer and other enterprise tools.
  • Implement reliable data import and export processes.
  • Apply data governance practices to classification and protection of information.
  • Monitor data quality and use validation controls to preserve integrity.
  • Support identity and access integrations such as SSO, SAML, and RBAC.

Reporting and Analytics

  • Develop reports and dashboards to track KPIs, risk heatmaps, and compliance metrics.
  • Prepare executive-facing reporting and visual outputs for leadership.
  • Create custom reports for audit and regulatory needs.
  • Ensure reporting accuracy and automate report scheduling where needed.
  • Train users to build and use reports and dashboards effectively.

Support and Troubleshooting

  • Provide technical assistance to users and resolve platform issues.
  • Investigate complex problems and coordinate with vendors or internal IT teams to fix them.
  • Handle user access requests and explain system capabilities.
  • Produce user guides, training materials, and best-practice documentation.
  • Deliver training sessions to improve adoption of the platform.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate has experience working with GRC or other workflow-based platforms and can translate operational requirements into scalable system designs. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, communication, and stakeholder management are essential.

Desired Technical Background

Useful experience includes SQL or basic database querying, REST API integrations, scripting with PowerShell, Python, or JavaScript, and familiarity with identity and access management concepts such as SSO and SAML. RSA Archer certification or formal training is also beneficial.
