Role overview

Design Hotels is looking for a seasoned Senior Graphic Designer to shape and strengthen the brand’s visual presence across multiple channels. This is a hands-on creative role that blends conceptual thinking with execution, and suits someone who can guide projects from the first idea through final delivery while keeping brand strategy in view.

You will work within the in-house design team to create high-quality visual assets for digital, print, and social platforms. The role calls for a strong eye for storytelling, refined aesthetics, and the ability to produce imaginative work that stays consistent with the brand while still feeling fresh and distinctive.

Key responsibilities

  • Own the creative direction and delivery of design projects across digital and print formats, including brand assets, campaigns, social content, websites, packaging, and presentation materials.
  • Partner with teams in creative, marketing, PR, and digital functions to turn business objectives into clear visual ideas.
  • Protect and refine brand standards so the visual identity remains consistent across all touchpoints.
  • Share concepts and finished designs with stakeholders and adapt work based on feedback.
  • Manage several assignments at once while maintaining deadlines, quality expectations, and creative excellence.
  • Keep pace with design developments, tools, and emerging technologies to improve the creative output.
  • Contribute ideas during brainstorming and broader creative planning discussions.
  • Create design materials for Design Hotels events, including digital invitations, printed collateral for on-site use, and spatial design elements.
  • Work closely with cross-functional colleagues to support wider brand and campaign goals.
  • Support the growth of junior designers through mentoring and guidance.

Requirements

  • Strong command of graphic design fundamentals, including typography, layout, branding, logo development, and research.
  • Solid experience designing for both digital and print media.
  • Advanced image curation skills are essential, as the work heavily relies on visual storytelling and the use of photography.
  • Sharp attention to detail and a strong sense of visual aesthetics.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to receive direction and feedback constructively.
  • Good time management with the capacity to balance multiple projects and deliver on schedule.
  • Organised, self-directed working style.
  • Positive mindset and willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to stay current with brand, design, technology, and technique trends and apply that learning to creative work.
  • Interest in culture, design, hospitality, travel, and art.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of professional graphic design experience, ideally in an agency or in-house setting.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating branding work and multi-platform design capability.
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and XD, plus other relevant tools.
  • Experience with UI/UX design, motion graphics, and web design.
  • Knowledge of After Effects or Premiere Pro is a major advantage.
  • Comfort using Canva and Keynote.
  • English proficiency; additional languages are beneficial.
  • A portfolio or design samples must be submitted to show the range of work and creative versatility.
