Job description
About PATRICKS
PATRICKS is a luxury men’s skincare, haircare, and wellness brand built around high performance, thoughtful innovation, strong design, and sustainability. The brand is guided by the belief that men’s products should be as beautifully designed as the cars they admire and the watches they aspire to own.
The business has earned international recognition and a loyal following, with awards from GQ, Esquire, and Men’s Health, and distribution partnerships with premium retailers such as Harrods, Bergdorf Goodman, Selfridges, and David Jones. Backed by investment from Shiseido, the brand is preparing for its next stage of growth, which includes new product launches, an Alpine F1 collaboration, and expansion into new markets.
This is a design-led environment rather than a conventional beauty brand. Visual identity is treated as a core part of the brand, not a finishing touch, and the team draws inspiration from brands such as Porsche, Apple, and Rolex to maintain a consistently elevated standard across every touchpoint.
Role Overview
PATRICKS is looking for a Senior Graphic Designer / Art Director to work in-house in Sydney. The role will be the main creative force behind day-to-day marketing output, translating briefs into polished, brand-aligned communications across email, social, and digital channels while also contributing original ideas.
This position requires both strong execution and conceptual thinking. The ideal candidate will be able to produce refined design work and also help shape the idea behind the work, rather than only assembling layouts from instructions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and art direct creative across core marketing channels, including EDMs, paid social, organic social, ecommerce assets, and digital campaigns.
- Generate ideas and build concepts for straightforward campaigns and communications, adding strategic thinking as well as production capability.
- Receive direction from marketing and founders, then turn it into sharp, premium-quality work that supports conversion.
- Ensure consistency of the brand across Australian, US, and UK markets.
- Create and refine templates and design systems that help the team work quickly without compromising quality.
- As the role expands, support larger brand initiatives and the occasional photo or content shoot.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in graphic design, with exposure to art direction or concept development preferred.
- A strong portfolio showing premium, design-focused work; experience in beauty, grooming, fashion, luxury, or lifestyle is especially valuable.
- Excellent visual craft with strong command of typography, layout, colour, and composition.
- Ability to think conceptually and contribute ideas, not just execute a brief.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, as well as Figma.
- Comfort working at speed on a high volume of tasks while keeping work refined and polished.
- A clear sense of high-end design standards and the judgment to explain why a design works.
- Added advantage if you have experience with motion or video, basic CGI, or DTC/ecommerce work.
- Applicants must include a portfolio link when submitting their application.
Working Arrangement
This is a full-time, office-based position requiring attendance five days a week in Bondi Junction, New South Wales, Australia.
Why Join
This role offers the opportunity to create premium work for a fast-growing global brand that values design deeply. The founder is closely involved, creative input is genuinely valued, and there is scope to develop into wider art direction responsibilities over time.
Additional Information
The role is based in Queens Park, New South Wales, Australia, and is an onsite full-time position. Candidates should be prepared for a fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on craft, consistency, and brand standards.
