Job description
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Governance Specialist to join our organization in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing, implementing, and continuously improving corporate governance practices throughout the company.
Key Duties
- Create, update, and uphold governance frameworks, policies, procedures, and authority delegation matrices.
- Ensure adherence to governance policies, internal controls, and applicable regulatory standards through ongoing monitoring.
- Facilitate governance-related committees by preparing meeting agendas, reports, presentations, and necessary documentation.
- Conduct thorough governance evaluations and suggest enhancements to reinforce governance effectiveness.
- Work closely with various business departments to embed governance principles across the organization.
- Assist with implementing governance projects and track progress versus set targets.
Candidate Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
- Between 3 to 5 years of practical experience in Corporate Governance, Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC), Risk Management, Compliance, or similar areas.
- In-depth understanding of governance frameworks, company policies, and regulatory environment.
- Strong analytical abilities, along with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Preferably experienced working within holding companies, diverse group structures, or organizations encompassing several subsidiaries or business units.
- Professional governance certifications such as GRCP, CGRC, or their equivalents are advantageous.
Preferred Profile
Ideal candidates will have prior experience with corporate governance in group or holding company settings, managing governance across multiple subsidiaries or business entities. Exposure to complex multi-entity organizations is a significant benefit.
Compensation and Location
This is a full-time position located onsite in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, offering a monthly salary range between SAR 19,000 and SAR 20,000.
