Role Overview

Joining the Global Finance & Business Navigation team, this position involves working collaboratively across departments and regions to provide actionable insights that influence strategic and operational business decisions, supporting sustainable growth. The main focus will be on the Automotive business unit, encompassing financial planning, performance assessment, detailed reporting, and advising business leaders.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine sales and gross margin figures and projections to detect trends, risks, and growth opportunities
• Assist in the monthly close activities by reviewing profit and loss statements, analyzing discrepancies, preparing executive presentations, and responding to leadership inquiries
• Contribute to the annual budget process and quarterly rolling forecasts related to operating expenses of the Automotive BU, ensuring adherence to deadlines and delivering clear reports to senior management
• Oversee the correct configuration of subsidiary transfer pricing and verify transaction flows in SAP systems
• Collaborate with Sales teams to provide pricing strategies for new business bids
• Work alongside cross-functional groups to evaluate market trends, competitors, and disruptions to develop long-term financial and business models supporting evaluation and prioritization of new products, markets, business models, and research initiatives
• Drive process enhancements and automation projects focused on improving efficiency and accuracy in reporting, analysis, forecasting, including leveraging artificial intelligence tools

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or closely related discipline; globally recognized equivalents accepted
• Minimum of 7 years experience in corporate finance, financial planning & analysis, controlling, or financial analysis roles, ideally within automotive, manufacturing, or multinational organizations
• Deep familiarity with the automotive sector, its market environment, competition, and ability to navigate a global corporate structure
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving aptitude, and expertise in financial modeling, capable of simplifying complex data into effective business proposals
• High adaptability and eagerness to learn, with ability to quickly understand Bose Automotive products, customer base, and operational models
• Proficient communication skills in English; German language skills are advantageous for collaboration with local contacts and processes
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SAP and financial planning/reporting software highly desirable
• Experience using SAP in finance or controlling contexts; knowledge of German accounting standards such as HGB and IFRS is a plus
• Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools like Power BI and AI applications; exposure to automation and digital finance tools beneficial
