Analyst - Credit Investments

About the Role

Tranham Partners is assisting a leading Private Credit platform aiming to enlarge its credit investments division. This Analyst/Senior Analyst position supports the business's ongoing expansion, focusing on multifamily real estate lending.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating and underwriting credit investment prospects within the multifamily loan portfolio.
• Collaborate closely with Senior Associates or Vice Presidents to review credit opportunities across the multifamily sector.
• Engage with senior credit team members on financial modeling, comprehensive analysis, and due diligence.
• Prepare presentation materials and financial analysis for internal stakeholders, including senior management and equity underwriting teams.
• Aid asset management functions by monitoring portfolio health and tracking performance metrics.
• As experience grows, gain involvement in bond trading and B-piece investments.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of practical experience in Real Estate Private Credit, Private Equity, or Investment Banking.
• Familiarity with commercial real estate credit products such as preferred equity, mezzanine debt, bridge loans, construction finance, or similar structured lending instruments is desirable.
• Comprehensive understanding of multifamily real estate, the platform’s primary investment focus.
• Strong proficiency in Excel-based financial modeling and underwriting techniques.
• Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail, capable of managing multiple live transactions concurrently.
• Effective written and oral communication skills to confidently present analyses to senior team members.
