Investment Banking Specialist - Remote Contract Opportunity

About the Role

We are hiring a Finance Expert specialized in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Venture Capital, and Fund Formation. This is a contract-based, fully remote position.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate various financial models including valuations, transaction analyses, and leveraged buyout models.
• Prepare or review Confidential Information Memorandum (CIM) analyses, investment committee memoranda, and due diligence findings.
• Assess capital calls, distribution waterfalls, fund economics, and limited partner reporting.
• Analyze fund formation and subscription documentation from financial and operational perspectives.
• Identify inaccuracies, unsupported assumptions, diligence gaps, and discrepancies between recommendations and analyses.
• Communicate findings clearly through well-structured written reasoning.

Qualifications

• 3 to 7 years’ experience in investment banking or private equity, or 5 to 10 years in fund operations for practitioner roles; 7 to 15 years for senior reviewer roles.
• Professional background in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, fund finance, operations, or formation.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, valuations, transaction execution, due diligence, and investment documentation.
• Current or recent involvement in execution activities is highly preferred.
• Exceptional written communication skills with the capacity to clarify assumptions, articulate risks, and offer clear recommendations.
• Preferred experience for senior-level positions includes reviewing deal teams, investment memoranda, or fund deliverables.
