Role Overview
The Finance department is expanding and seeks a driven Senior Financial Analyst to advance operational excellence. This role offers a chance to deliver financial insights and support strategic growth within a dynamic technology business. Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills are essential for engaging senior executives and guiding key decisions. Responsibilities include financial planning and forecasting, ad hoc modeling, and decision support. This position is hybrid, requiring presence in the Mountain View office three days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior leadership to manage month-end, quarterly, and annual financial planning and analysis activities including forecasting, reporting, and variance explanation.
- Convert financial data and analyses into actionable recommendations to facilitate daily operations and long-term strategy.
- Develop and sustain financial models to monitor performance, conduct scenario analyses, and assist investment choices.
- Lead return on investment and business case evaluations for initiatives, ensuring optimal capital use.
- Enforce financial discipline by reviewing and approving staffing and expenditure requests aligned with budgets and strategic goals.
- Produce clear, concise financial presentations for executives, board members, and external parties.
- Champion process enhancements to improve and scale finance and cross-functional processes.
Qualifications
- At least 4 years of financial analyst experience in SaaS or software businesses.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen curiosity and problem-solving aptitude.
- Proactive ownership of projects with meticulous attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with budgeting systems; familiarity with Anaplan is advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; MBA preferred.
- Understanding of SaaS financial models is beneficial.

- The typical annual salary range for this role is $115,000 to $135,000, varying by location and experience.
