Collaboration with teams across Singapore, Sydney, and other global offices is essential, supporting a follow-the-sun operational model.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with trading and operational staff to promptly resolve trade and settlement issues.
  • Maintain and verify custodian settlement instructions and assist in managing custodian relationships.
  • Conduct portfolio holdings, trade activity, and cash balance reconciliations; oversee performance of outsourced service providers.
  • Support custody holdings verification, spendable cash confirmations, cash flow oversight, and other trade-related operational requests.
  • Monitor both mandatory and voluntary corporate actions.
  • Aid in new client account setups in partnership with internal teams and transition personnel.
  • Validate third-party data accuracy and uphold governance standards within operational processes.
  • Address queries from trading, compliance, operations, and client-facing teams.
  • Participate in specialized projects and seek process enhancements within the investment operations department.

Candidate Requirements

  • Degree holder in Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related fields preferred.
  • Minimum two years’ experience in fund accounting, investment operations, trade support, settlements, or equivalent roles within investment management.
  • Solid comprehension of the trade lifecycle, including post-trade procedures, settlements, and issue resolution.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Charles River, DTCC CTM, GTSS, or other post-trade/operations software is advantageous.
  • Experience with diverse asset classes including equities, fixed income, futures, swaps, foreign exchange, or credit securities.
  • Strong analytical capability and solid grasp of financial accounting principles.
  • Meticulous, well-organized, and adept at managing time-sensitive operational matters.
  • Capable of working autonomously while maintaining effective communication with regional and global colleagues.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders, custodians, and outsourced vendors.
  • Proactive, motivated, and open to taking on expanded responsibilities within investment operations.
