About the Role

National Food Products Company (NFPC Group), known for its diverse portfolio of food and beverage products, is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join its Finance team in Dubai. This role is pivotal in delivering comprehensive financial analysis and business performance reports across the organization. The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for variance analysis, KPI reporting on revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures at several organizational levels, and leveraging predictive insights to inform strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
  • Develop and refine financial models and revenue templates to support ongoing planning and forecasting efforts.
  • Conduct analysis of current and past trends related to revenue, costs, expenses, and capital investments, taking into account broader economic factors.
  • Collaborate closely with Business Unit leaders to build, challenge, and finalize annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Lead monthly and periodic variance analyses, interpret performance drivers, and offer recommendations to enhance results.
  • Evaluate the profitability and ROI of new business opportunities, including pricing adjustments and deal assessments.
  • Critically assess business proposals by identifying risks and opportunities, questioning underlying assumptions, and suggesting alternative approaches.
  • Present analytical findings and strategic recommendations to senior executives to drive cost optimization, revenue growth, and operational improvements.
  • Produce insightful business reports and financial presentations for executive management and Board members.
  • Develop competitor and market trend analyses to benchmark the company’s performance against industry competitors.
  • Review and validate deliverables of junior analysts while providing coaching and technical guidance to aid their professional growth.
  • Foster strong working relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams throughout the organization.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in financial analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; professional certifications preferred.
  • Demonstrated capability to identify root causes of variance and propose data-driven, strategic solutions across business units.
  • Proficiency in complex financial modeling and forecasting with minimal oversight.
  • Strong analytical capabilities to interlink budget, forecast, variance, and trend data.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to influence stakeholders at various levels.
  • Adaptable, forward-thinking mindset with robust critical thinking abilities.
  • Team-oriented, self-driven professional with the aptitude to mentor junior team members effectively.
