About the Role
Careers & Candidates is recruiting on behalf of a small-cap ASX-listed company headquartered in Collins Street, Melbourne. The company embraces a hybrid work model with 2 to 3 days required in-office and the rest remote. The Senior Financial Accountant will report directly to the CFO and collaborate closely with the Senior Management Accountant.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including group consolidations, eliminations, and intercompany reconciliations.
- Assist in preparing Board and Executive level reporting documents.
- Support compliance with ASX continuous disclosure and reporting requirements.
- Ensure adherence to Australian Accounting Standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Manage audit coordination and communication with external auditors.
- Contribute to the preparation of investor presentations.
- Handle income tax and indirect tax compliance and reporting tasks.
- Oversee treasury functions as required.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Completed Accounting Degree with CA or CPA certification obtained or in progress.
- Experience working with ASX reporting obligations.
- Highly motivated and proactive with a strong drive to contribute and collaborate.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
