Role Overview

We are searching for a seasoned and proactive Senior Finance Manager to spearhead our finance operations in Singapore. The chosen applicant will be responsible for managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, ensuring compliance, managing cash flows, and collaborating with business units to deliver strategic financial insights that foster business expansion. This position requires close collaboration with executive leadership, regional teams, auditors, tax bodies, and other external partners.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Direct comprehensive finance and accounting activities.
  • Supervise monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closing processes.
  • Compile and evaluate management accounts and financial statements for senior executives.
  • Handle budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
  • Oversee cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions.
  • Analyze financial results and offer practical advice to influence business decisions.

Financial Reporting & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), IFRS, and statutory obligations.
  • Manage statutory audits, tax compliance, GST reporting, and regulatory filings.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and governance standards.
  • Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, banks, and regulators efficiently.

Collaboration and Business Partnering

  • Collaborate with leaders to support budgeting and operational financial decision-making.
  • Deliver financial insights to enhance profitability and operational processes.
  • Back strategic projects with financial modelling and evaluating business cases.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Guide, mentor, and build the finance team capabilities.
  • Prioritize tasks and guarantee timely completion of financial duties.
  • Encourage a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Implement finance process enhancements using automation and digital solutions.

Risk and Compliance Management

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, control procedures, and governance frameworks.
  • Identify potential financial risks and enforce mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain precise accounting documentation and records.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications like CA, CPA, ACCA, or ISCA are preferred.
  • 8 to 12+ years of progressive experience in finance with leadership roles.
  • Proficient knowledge of SFRS/IFRS, taxation, and statutory requirements in Singapore.
  • Experienced in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and partnering with businesses.
  • Strong analytical skills paired with commercial insight.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or Xero.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
