Lead First Focus New Zealand's finance function and contribute directly to its commercial growth. This senior leadership position offers autonomy to develop and strengthen the financial operations, partnering closely with senior management to support acquisition strategies and overall business success in New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial management, reporting, and cash flow operations for New Zealand.
- Produce accurate monthly reports, forecasts, budgets, and commercial analysis.
- Offer strategic financial advice and insights to the General Manager and senior leadership.
- Manage financial integration of newly acquired entities.
- Ensure compliance with New Zealand accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Oversee treasury operations, cash flow, insurance, and contract management.
- Lead payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable functions.
- Strengthen financial controls, governance, and operational efficiency.
- Develop, mentor, and lead the New Zealand finance team.
- Build a scalable finance function to support continued growth.
Candidate Profile
- Qualified CA or CPA professional.
- Approximately 10+ years of experience in commercial finance leadership roles.
- Deep understanding of New Zealand finance including taxation and statutory compliance.
- Proven ability to lead finance teams within commercial settings.
- Strong skills in financial reporting, forecasting, and commercial analysis.
- Effective communication skills to influence senior stakeholders with pragmatic financial advice.
- Experience with business growth, mergers, acquisitions, or organizational change is highly valued.
- Collaborative leadership style emphasizing accountability and team development.
