Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial management, reporting, and cash flow operations for New Zealand.
• Produce accurate monthly reports, forecasts, budgets, and commercial analysis.
• Offer strategic financial advice and insights to the General Manager and senior leadership.
• Manage financial integration of newly acquired entities.
• Ensure compliance with New Zealand accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Oversee treasury operations, cash flow, insurance, and contract management.
• Lead payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable functions.
• Strengthen financial controls, governance, and operational efficiency.
• Develop, mentor, and lead the New Zealand finance team.
• Build a scalable finance function to support continued growth.

Candidate Profile

• Qualified CA or CPA professional.
• Approximately 10+ years of experience in commercial finance leadership roles.
• Deep understanding of New Zealand finance including taxation and statutory compliance.
• Proven ability to lead finance teams within commercial settings.
• Strong skills in financial reporting, forecasting, and commercial analysis.
• Effective communication skills to influence senior stakeholders with pragmatic financial advice.
• Experience with business growth, mergers, acquisitions, or organizational change is highly valued.
• Collaborative leadership style emphasizing accountability and team development.
