Role Overview
The company is seeking an Assistant Manager or Deputy Manager in Finance & Accounts based in Nanjangud, Mysore, responsible for comprehensive finance functions including invoice processing, vendor and payment management, expense oversight, compliance, financial reporting, and audit support.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify and process invoices with accurate documentation and maintain budget expense tracking; resolve accounts payable discrepancies.
- Manage vendor relations including onboarding new suppliers and maintaining records of inactive vendors.
- Coordinate payment processing, manage payment schedules, and address payment discrepancies.
- Oversee and maintain vendor invoice analytics tools, review analytics, and resolve related queries.
- Monitor and control expenses by analyzing spending and identifying opportunities for cost savings; resolve outstanding creditor issues and prepare reports related to month-end financial closing.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports related to accounts payable, product costing, inventory management, and coordinate physical stock verifications.
- Support audit processes by providing all necessary documentation and assistance.
- Perform additional assigned tasks such as generating management reports or supporting special projects.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Master’s degree in Commerce (M.Com).
- Has over 5 years of professional experience in Finance and Accounts.
