About the Role
Join Ripple in Dublin as a Senior Finance Manager specializing in EMEA financial and regulatory reporting. You will lead the end-to-end preparation of financial statements and regulatory filings complying with IFRS, local GAAPs, and adherence to various regulatory frameworks. This role demands hands-on technical expertise, strong project management, and collaboration across global teams to ensure deadlines are met and compliance is maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the statutory audit process for multiple entities, serving as the primary liaison with external auditors.
- Prepare statutory financial statements including consolidation entries under IFRS and local accounting standards.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of regulatory returns to local authorities, meeting all reporting standards and internal controls.
- Participate in regulatory change projects and finance transformation efforts to embed new requirements into routine processes.
- Coordinate with Tax, Treasury, Legal, Compliance, Product teams, and local finance units to verify the completeness and accuracy of financial data; address and resolve data quality issues.
- Identify and implement improvements to streamline the financial and regulatory reporting processes.
- Conduct research and apply technical accounting policies under IFRS and local GAAP, documenting judgments for audit purposes.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting certification such as ACA, CPA, ACCA, or CIMA with over 10 years of post-qualification experience.
- Experience in regulated financial services sectors including banking, EMI/payment institutions, or regulated crypto/fintech environments.
- Expertise in regulatory control frameworks and governance, with experience working under FCA, CSSF, and/or DFSA regulations.
- Proven ability to manage audit schedules across multiple entities and countries simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and FRS102; familiarity with other European GAAP is advantageous.
- Experience using ERP or accounting software, preferably Oracle Fusion.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills across all levels.
- Ability to work independently, solve problems proactively, and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
