Senior Finance Business Controller

Strategic Business Partnership and Performance Management

• Serve as a reliable finance partner to the Middle East Zone Director and commercial/marketing divisions, delivering financial insights and constructive critique to facilitate strategic decisions.
• Influence key drivers such as pricing strategy, promotion effectiveness, product portfolio management, new launches, trade terms, and distribution approaches to foster profitable growth.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities, evaluate assumptions critically, and propose recommendations to meet regional financial and strategic goals.

Financial Planning, Forecasting, and Analysis

• Lead comprehensive annual budgeting procedures, periodic updates, and monthly rolling forecasts for the region, including Rolling Forecast, Monthly Cycle, and Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
• Track financial performance metrics including revenue growth, profitability, margins, and key indicators to provide valuable analytical insights.
• Deliver detailed financial reports and presentations to regional leadership, supporting timely and informed decision-making.

Financial Governance and Control

• Manage month-end, semi-annual, and year-end close processes ensuring accuracy, adherence to compliance, and timely accrual bookings.
• Enforce compliance with internal financial controls, policies, and reporting standards throughout the region.
• Maintain transparent and high-quality financial reporting to reflect business performance clearly.

Investment and Profitability Oversight

• Supervise and optimize Advertising & Promotion (A&P) expenditures to align with strategic priorities and enhance ROI.
• Drive initiatives to improve profitability through revenue growth management, cost control, product mix optimization, and resource allocation.
• Assist country teams in developing sustainable, profitable growth strategies.

Leadership and Continuous Improvement

• Lead and mentor a team of business controllers located in Dubai and Paris, promoting accountability, collaboration, and ongoing development.
• Advocate for finance transformation initiatives including process simplification, automation, data visualization, and new tool implementation.
• Foster best practices and strengthen finance capabilities across the region.

Candidate Profile

• 5 to 8 years of experience in business controlling, with strong expertise in topline controlling.
• Experience preferably in a multinational FMCG firm, especially in F&B or premium product sectors.

• Proficiency in Excel, Essbase, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
